Honey Pot Herbals & Renegade Productions Review

In our family, we’re trying to make as many changes in our lives that we can to make us healthier. We’re cutting out chemicals and junk that just don’t belong on/in us. Honey Pot Herbals & Renegade Productions is a WAHM business on Etsy. Joanne gave me 3 products to try out and review. All of their products are paraben free, phthalate free, SLS free, and silicone free. Their soaps, salves, and lip balms are also preservative free. Along with being free of many chemicals, the herbs used in their products are organically grown in their garden! You can just feel good about ordering from them. You know what you’re getting.

Baileigh and I both have eczema. If you have eczema, you know how horrible it is when it flares up. I get super itchy and I feel like there is nothing that can help but itch. I’ve scratched up my legs and arms so much that they’ve bled. Luckily, Bai’s doesn’t seem to really itch her- yet. It could also be that hers is on her back and I’m not really sure if she can reach it…. After telling Joanne about our eczema, she sent me Eczema Soap, Skin Salve, and Chill Out Salve.

The Eczema Soap is made with Neem Oil, Karanja Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Lard, Oatmeal, and Chamomile Essential Oil. This soap is made to reduce the redness associated with eczema or other rashes. And it works very well! I wish I would have thought to take before and after pictures before using these products and since I’ve been using them!

The Skin Salve is made with Neem Oil, Karanja Oil, Black Cumin, Evening Primrose Oil, Calendula Infused Sunflower Oil, and Chamomile Essential Oil. This salve is made to moisturize dry skin. I have very, very dry skin and this did seem to help it a bit. I have yet to really find something that can help 100% of the time, but this did help a lot!

The Chill Out Skin Chiller Stick is made with Calendula, Chickweed,  Plantain, and Lavender Essential Oil. This skin stick is to soothe burns and bites. I haven’t used this much, but I expect it to be our lifesaver in the summer since we always end up with tons of mosquito bites!

Overall, I’ve been very, very pleased with these products. They’re natural products that have been helping my skin become less itchy, less red, and less irritated in general. I’ve also gotten moisturized! I feel good about putting these products on knowing that there aren’t any yucky ingredients in them! That alone makes me want to buy more and more of them! So get on over to Etsy and see what else she has to offer. I’ve got my eye on their Get Lost Outdoor Spray, Baby’s Decongestant Salve, and their Whipped Butter Salt Scrub. You can find their Etsy page HERE.

I’d love to try the eczema soap on my little guy! That chill out stick sounds awesome too. I just killed my first mosquito of the year yesterday!
