prAna Clothing Review

*Sponsored Post

prAna started making clothing in 1992 for climbing and yoga. Once they saw the reaction to their clothing, prAna started making clothing for other passions as well. prAna is one of those businesses you can feel good purchasing. You will find clothing made from materials such as organic cotton, hemp and recycled poly. They are eco-friendly, cruelty free, and Fair Trade certified.

When I first received my box with my prAna outfit, I was really excited. I didn’t know what exactly to expect since I had not yet heard of them but after looking at their website, had a hard time deciding what I wanted to put into my closet. I had chosen the Kara Jean in “denim” and the Deedra Sweater Tunic in “coal.”

My first thoughts on the clothing was incredible. While I was a little disappointed the jeans were more grey than I had anticipated, the stretchiness to them and the way they hugged my body made up for it. They quickly became my favorite jeans. Because of the grey denim, I didn’t really feel like I could pair it up with the grey sweater. It couldn’t be the outfit like I had hoped but they were great options to add in my wardrobe. The sweater was softer than I thought and it wasn’t itchy, which was what I was starting to anticipate. The sweater was also long enough to be tastefully worn with leggings. (And I’m super picky about the length of shirts to be worn with leggings!)

After washing and wearing a few times this week, both pieces have held up incredibly well and I anticipate I’ll be purchasing another pair of these jeans. They’re seriously so amazing and perfect for when I have to put on real pants. #MomLife The jeans were perfect for volunteering at the girls’ elementry school Book Fair and the sweater was adorable and cozy for a date night with the hubby to the movies. A+ to prAna for amazing articles of clothing!
